DELICIOUS GARDEN FLATBREAD

I had been craving homemade pizza for weeks, but every time I would scope out the items at the grocery store, I felt guilty in knowing that pizza dough just isn't the healthiest option. Once you add on the cheese and meat, it's even worse. I wanted a yummy alternative that wouldn't make me feel guilty. Thanks to a close friend who recommended I try using Flatout bread, I was able to create the perfect flatbread dish to satisfy my pizza craving. I ended up eating this flatbread for five days nearly in a row , which means it's  delicious and irresistible!

INGREDIENTS

  • Flatout Multigrain Bread 
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Baby Spinach & Kale
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • Sliced Peppercinis
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
  • Balsamic Vinegar Glaze

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  2. Lightly grease pizza pan. Bake flatbread for 3-5 minutes on each side or until desired crispiness. Keep in mind that pizza sauce has the tendency to make the flatbread soggy, so the crispier, the better. Don't let flatbread burn.
  3. Add sauce, spinach, kale, tomatoes, peppercinis, and cheese. Add red pepper if you want your flatbread to be spicy. Bake until cheese is melted. 
  4. Drizzle balsamic vinegar glaze on top. Enjoy!
